Mommy & Taylor had a girls night out!

Last Saturday, Taylor and I met up with some of my mommy friends for dinner near San Francisco. We had a great time at the Melting Pot, that place is absolutely fantastic. If you haven't tried it, you need to RUN there ASAP! The best part was the chocolate/peanut butter fondue. YUMMY! I requested a birthday dinner there, so in a few weeks I get to enjoy it again, but w/ my husband. : )

Christmas!!!!

We had a great couple of days during this holiday! Christmas Eve we went over to my Aunt Barbara & Uncle Gene's for our annual Christmas eve festivities. Yummy food, presents for the kids and lots of fun! Lucas had a blast scooting on his butt down the stairs all night, he slept like a rock and didn't want to wake up on Christmas morning til 9!! Daddy & Mommy were very anxious for the kids to see what Santa brought, and to open up the other presents! Lucas was very excited this year, he tore into every present he could, even some that didn't belong to him. A little while later my mom, dad, sister, brother & his girlfriend came over for a late breakfast. It was so nice! Thank you guys for coming!
Later in the afternoon we went to Lenny & Mary's house to open gifts w/ the family. Lucas even helped Auntie Kristie open up a gift of hers, that child!! Taylor had lots of fun eating wrapping paper and squealing w/ delight at her new toys and clothes.
Later we went to Kyle's grandma & grandpa's house for dinner w/ the whole family. We had a great time there as well. It was a long day, but well worth all the excitement. Here are just a few pictures.

Kyle turns 25!

Kyle wanted us all to go to John's Incredible Pizza to celebrate his "quarter of a century" birthday. I thought that was really sweet, since he wanted the kids to have a good time. Our family and Kristie & Brandon & the boys went. We had a lot of fun and ate too much food. : )

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!!!

Pictures w/ Santa!

We recently went to check out the new Bass Pro Shop. That place is AWESOME! Both kids really liked all the neat displays and of course the "shishies". Lucas wanted us to buy him a fishing pole, so we carried it around in the cart for awhile. He kept insisiting we go back to the "shishies", he wanted to fish for the trout in the pond! He is just like his daddy. Santa was there so we took pictures. Lucas was all about it, until we got up close and personal w/ Mr. Clause. Taylor was loving him, I think she liked his beard. ; ) Here are the pics!

Lights!!

I tried to recreate Lucas' first Christmas pictures w/ the lights w/ Miss. T. She LOVED it. Of course eating the lights was much more fun than posing for pictures, but luckily I got quite a few good ones! Lucas joined in on the fun too.

Thanksgiving pics (a few weeks late)

We had a really nice time on Thanksgiving. Lenny cooked us a fabulous meal, as usual and it was SO good! My only goal for the day was to get some good pics of the kids together, that turned out to be alot harder than I thought. Unfortunately, getting a cute picture of the two of them never happened!!

Her 1st tooth~

After months of telling everyone that she is teething, and feeling sort of silly since there has been nothing to show for it... one little sharp tooth finally made it's appearance. YAY!
Saturday when I got home from work I did my daily check, and sure enough there it was! No more letting her bite on our fingers, that sucker is SHARP! ; )
When it is showing a little more, I'll definitely be sharing a picture. I thought for sure she'd get teeth early like Lucas who had close to 8 teeth by this age. Just goes to show you that every baby is definitely different.

Halloween 2008

Halloween was full of fun. Lucas refused to wear his spiderman costume, so he went as his adorable self. Maybe next year?? Taylor was a Bee-utiful little Bee and Mommy was a lady bug. Kristie & Brandon threw a great party next door and we all had so much fun. Lucas didn't even know he missed out on trick or treating but mommy & daddy sure missed out on the candy. ; )

The new salon

I recently started working at a salon in Lodi. I LOVE working there! It has been such a great experience so far. I am only working 3 days a week so it's the perfect balance between my family & career. I am so thankful I have family to help me out with the kids on my work days. I appreciate it more than they will ever know!

Cheyenne's Football Game

The kids and I finally made it to one of C's games to watch her cheer. L immediately freaked out and didn't want to take part in the fun. He screamed his lungs out during the National Anthem which was quite embarrassing. Luckily he calmed down after the 2nd quarter was over and had a good time. T was such a little doll, she loved all the noise and was very intrigued by the cheerleaders & the pom poms. I think we may see her down there in about 13 years or so. : )

Our New Blog

I thought it was a good time to start up a blog. A great way to share pictures & stories of the family. L & T are growing so fast and I think this is a good way to document the little things that we may forget years from now.
